
Kasey Weddington's passion for dance began at the age of 2, dancing with Miss Donna Jeans School of Dance in Baltimore, MD. She has trained at various dance studios across the country including Telluride Performing Arts Center, Dance Dynamix, White Marsh Performing Arts Academy. Her love of dance inspired her to coach Perry Hall High School's dance team which competed at various competitions throughout the state of Maryland. During that time, she was also dancing and performing with the Dimensional Dance Company of CCBC in Baltimore, MD. Kasey began managing and teaching at Susan Chambers School of Theatre Dance in Atlanta, GA in 2002. For two years she worked with ages 3 and up teaching ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop and musical theatre. In 2004, she returned to Maryland and choreographed for the Dance program at St. Mary's College of Maryland and worked with first graders in a movement concept class. She moved to Jacksonville in August and teaches Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip-hop as well as several technique classes. She remains dedicated to the art of dance and truly enjoys the fulfillment from teaching others about her passion. This will be Miss Kasey's 2nd year with Studio1014 and she looks forward to another fun-filled year with the dancers!
Kellina grew up studying dance at the beach under Janet Sydnor and was one of the first graduates from Douglas Anderson School of the Arts. After high school she moved to Chicago to study and perform with the Gus Giordano Jazz Dance Chicago dance company. She then moved to New York to study at the Broadway Dance Center and Steps Performing Arts Center. She moved back to Jacksonville and taught at numerous private studios as well as Stanton and Fletcher high schools. She also was the dance director at Episcopal High School from 1997 to 1999. In 2001, Kellina opened her own dance studio, Studio K, in the San Marco area and ran it for 5 years before selling it to stay home with her two children, Whit and Ella. Kellina is an award winning choreographer and performer and is excited to be getting back into the dance life at Studio 1014.
Kara Barger is ecstatic to be teaching Musical Theater at Studio 1014. She is a twenty year old native to Jacksonville. Kara just recently completed her AA at Florida Community College this past Spring. She hopes to transfer to Jacksonville University to study Communications and Musical Theater. In high school, Kara was named Miss Fletcher 2006 and Miss Senior High 2006. Kara has had the privilege to appear on many of Jacksonville’s stages performing both community and professional theater. Her credits include Elma Duckworth in /Bus Stop/ at Theater Jacksonville, Sister Albert Maria in /Tony and Tina’s Wedding/(Larry Pelligini), and most recently a Phantom in /The Rocky Horror Show Live!/(Chancey Productions). Her latest project was being a part of the HBO movie/Recount/ as Laura Dern’s stand-in and the role of Young Republican. Kara can be seen in the upcoming new musical/ Green Room/ at Players By The Sea this July.
Lori Paris has been in the fitness industry for the past 17 years. She has a passion for helping people achieve their goals and make lifestyle changes that will lead to a more fulfilling life. Lori believes in making fitness FUN! She works with her clients both physically and mentally to achieve those goals. Achieving goals and lifestyle changes are not easy . . . but, with motivation and determination combined with a trainer’s direction and knowledge, the “impossible goal” will become the achieved goal!!! Lori is pleased to be working with the children at Studio 1014.

Paul Jr was born in Palatka, Florida, and was a natural self-taught dancer since the age of 7 years old... growing up idolizing Mc Hammer; he began studying Mc Hammers' intense and electrifying performance style. Paul Jr moved to Jacksonville, Florida in the summer of 2002, since then he has had many opportunities to be trained by some of the most famous choreographers which include; Shane Sparks, Yeya, Luam,Chuck Maldonado,Phi Nguyen(Jabbawockeez), Free Crawford, Bam Bam, Jayson Wright, Jaffar Smith, Kelly Peters, Adam Sevani, The Spellman Sisters, Dion Watson,Georgio Fagan and numerous others. Paul Jr has trained at New York City's Broadway Dance Center and as well as Debbie Reynolds and Millennium in Los Angeles. Currently he is a Choreographer for KJ Productions dance team "Another Level" and a dancer for Kavin Grant's dance team "A Rhythm Nation"..His dance training consists of Hip Hop, Jazz, Contemporary, and Stepping. Paul Jr has Overcome many obstacles and being inspired by One of many of his favorite Quotes " Nothing ventured; Nothing gain" Paul Jr ventured into doing other things in the entertainment arena. Some of his accomplishments include a promotional tour date with Jive records/Hitz Committee artist Asia Cruise and being an extra in a theatrical movie such as " Never back down" and an HBO movie called "Recount"(staring Kevin Spacey). Paul Jr is extremely excited to be apart of " STUDIO 1014" and bring original and creative styles of hip hop choreography to its students.
Jessica has studied dance and gymnastics since she was five years old, beginning in her hometown studio, On Your Toes, with director Nancy Dunn. She attended New World School of the Arts College in Miami, FL, on a dance scholarship. Jessica also studied dance at Bennington College in Vermont, Dance Place in Washington D.C. and Broadway Dance Center in New York. She was a proud member of the Main Attraction Dance Company, as well as the Brazarte Company. Jessica has studied with world renowned artists such as Paul Matteson, Deborah Riley, Dana Reitz, and Gymnastics’ very own Bella Karoli. She was awarded the title of All-American Cheerleader by the National Cheerleading Association four consecutive times. Jessica is currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree in psychology at University Of North Florida.
